Congratulations to the authors from the Judith H. Aberle and Karin Stiasny (Center for Virology, Medical University of Vienna), for the publication of the article entitled: “Differentiation of West Nile and Usutu Virus Infections by Antibodies Directed to the Non-Structural Protein 1”  in Viruses in the Special Issue Emerging and Re-Emerging Neuroinvasive Arboviruses.

The study shows how the serological diagnosis of West Nile Virus infections can be facilitated by ELISAs using the Non-Structural Protein 1 (NS1). The study is part of/related to WP2 of the InFlaMe project.
